Publisher's Descriptions
Kerika is a visual approach to sharing documents, ideas and projects within distributed teams: it works on Macs, Windows and Linux with equal style and grace, and in just minutes you can create a "people-to-people" network that connects across organizations, computers, networks and timezones. Here are some of the reasons why Kerika is the smarter alternative to email:

Kerika makes it easy to share documents in context: using Kerika's Idea Pages, you can sketch out a project or process, attach documents, Web links, and pictures (and even code) to these pages, and then share the entire collection of pages that make up a project. This means your buddies don't just get the files, they get the big picture as well, and this is crucial to keep a distributed team on track and in synch with the project's goals, structure and strategies.

When documents get shared, Kerika takes care of all the filing for everyone on the team: you can attach notes to documents or edit them. When documents get changed, these new versions are sent to everyone else on the team and automatically filed for them on their computers. (It's like your own personal assistant.)

If some team members are offline when a project gets modified by someone, a "storage server" automatically kicks in to hold these updates for your offline colleagues. And for complete privacy, you can set up your private server (free!), which means you can create a "ring of trust" for your project team.

Sharing projects is easy: just add the email addresses of your buddies to a project's team list and Kerika takes care of the rest. And if some of your team members are not yet using Kerika, the software will automatically send them project updates by email instead.

When projects or Idea Pages change in any way, the updates are sent automatically to everyone on the team. And because every Idea Page has its own Trash, you can use Kerika as a "graphical Wiki".

Kerika comes with a large set of templates, dealing with a variety of subjects such as marketing, strategy, IT, etc., to help you get your new project set up in just seconds. Unlike other collaboration tools, Kerika's templates are visual and compelling: it's like having an expert sketch out your entire project for you to help you get started.

You can chat with other online users, share content and processes across multiple projects and share very large files: there is really no practical limit to how big a file can be if both sender and receiver are online at the same time.

Most collaboration tools reduce everything to boring lists of action items and files; Kerika lets your imagination run free. It's collaboration for creative people.

The software is offered as a subscription service: you get a 30-day free trial, after which you can become a monthly subscriber for $9.95 a month (and this gets cheaper still if you buy more than one month's subscription at a time).
